MakerOps is the operations platform for makerspaces, fab labs, and shared workshops — built for the staff who keep the space running and the users who interact with it. EQUIPMENT & MAINTENANCE: Track every machine's status at a glance. Log maintenance as you do it — including hands-free voice dictation — and sweep overdue tasks across an entire fleet in a few taps instead of one machine at a time. INVENTORY & PURCHASING: Get your inventory organized, print labels that help with identification, education, and restocking. Search stock by item or SKU, flag low supplies, and route purchase requests through an approve → order → receive → store workflow — right from the shop floor. STAFF SCHEDULING: A shift rota built for real makerspace hours: recurring shifts, drag-to-reschedule, swap requests, and a live view of who's on today. TRAINING & CREDENTIALS: A built in LMS that supports mobile and web based training. Build self paced trainings with embedded questions from images, videos, slide decks, and SCORM files. Members progress through prerequisite-gated trainings — orientation before machine certs, certs before advanced classes — and staff can see who's qualified for what at a glance. Credentials can be tied to physical machine access when using a hardware machine controller. For in-person trainings trainers grant credentials by users scanning a secure rotating credential code. FACILITY ACCESS & HOURS: Members carry a rotating QR credential for check-in, and everyone can see accurate open hours, including club nights and special hours, before they head over. When paired with a hardware access controller, internal facility access can be integrated into existing building door controllers and turnstiles. EVENTS: Browse upcoming open houses, workshops, and member events, and RSVP from the app. WAIVERS: Post in app and web based waivers that users sign. Waivers can be mapped to access privileges. TOURS: Host a tour request form on your website. Requests get routed into MakerOps and scheduling becomes a breeze. See who is on shift at the requested times, assign a tour guide, and send live updating calendar invites with a few clicks. Tour guests get instructions for the tour, and reminder emails and texts ahead of time. MakerOps accounts are set up by your makerspace's administrators — there's no public sign-up. If your space runs on MakerOps, sign in with the credentials your admin gave you.
