Stop squinting at the far end of the boardroom. MagoCast Viewer puts the meeting room's display on the device already in front of you. Whatever the room is showing — the video call, the presentation being shared, the document under discussion — appears on your iPhone or iPad in real time, at arm's length, readable from any seat at the table. It is the companion app for MagoCast Desktop, the broadcast system that runs on the room's computer. The room broadcasts; everyone in it watches on their own screen. JOINING TAKES NO SETUP Open the app and it finds the broadcast by itself. MagoCast Viewer discovers the room's system on the local network and lists it — one tap and you are watching. If your network blocks discovery, two fallbacks are always available: • PIN — type the code the room's display is showing • QR code — scan the code on the room's display with the camera Once you have joined a room, the app remembers it. Next time you walk in, you are one tap from the stream — even if the room's computer has changed IP address in the meantime. BUILT FOR PEOPLE SITTING AT A TABLE • Real-time playback over WebRTC, so what you see keeps pace with the conversation • Your screen stays awake while you watch — no blackouts mid-discussion • Tap once for the controls — leave or rotate — then they fade away and leave the screen clean • Rotate to landscape for the full width of the shared screen • On iPad, run it in Split View or Slide Over next to your notes IT STAYS IN THE ROOM All traffic runs across your local network. The video and audio never travel to a cloud service, and the stream is carried over WebRTC's encrypted transport. There is no account to create, no sign-in, nothing to configure. MagoCast Viewer collects no personal data and contains no analytics or tracking — the only thing stored on your device is the address of the last room you watched, so you do not have to pick it again. Sending the session out to the world stays a deliberate act: the room's MagoCast Desktop can relay a live stream to services such as YouTube Live or Twitch, but only when an administrator has explicitly enabled and configured that feature. WHERE IT FITS • Boardrooms and meeting rooms where the display is too far away to read • Long tables where half the room sees the screen at an angle • Training rooms, briefing rooms, and huddle spaces • Any room where people would rather follow along on their own device WHAT YOU NEED MagoCast Viewer is a viewer. It requires a computer in the room running MagoCast Desktop, with your device on the same local network. It does not broadcast your own screen, and it will not find anything on a network where no MagoCast broadcast is running. If you would rather not install anything, the same broadcast can be watched in a web browser. The app exists for the things a browser tab cannot do: it remembers the room, reconnects on its own, keeps the screen awake, and picks the session back up when you return to it.
