Most phones have one, but some budget or older devices do not. If your device has no light sensor, the app will tell you and cannot measure brightness. • Readings are taken from the hardware sensor for general reference. Accuracy varies by device and sensor placement, so values are best used as a guide, not a calibrated laboratory measurement. Privacy • The app measures light only on your device.
