LUM is a simple personal journal app designed for those who want to keep a diary without having to write at length. Write a single sentence that captures what you remember most from your day, add your mood if you wish, and revisit the memories you build over time. The rotating writing prompts on the Today screen give you a starting point for your daily entry. You can edit your sentence for the same day at any time throughout the day. On supported devices, you can use voice typing to convert your spoken words into text. Select your mood from the available options or create your own custom mood tags. You can rename or remove the tags you add later. The 7-day and 30-day mood views help you see the distribution of your recorded days. The calendar marks the days on which you wrote and displays the entry for the date you select. In the Memories section, search and filter your sentences by keyword, date, or mood. If you wrote an entry on the same date within the past eight years, LUM will show it again on the Today screen. Track your writing rhythm through your current streak, longest streak, monthly entry count, and total number of sentences. On the monthly summary card, view that month’s entry count, streak, and most prominent moods; if you wish, you can share the card as an image. When you grant permission, choose your preferred time for a daily reminder. Use the light, dark, or system theme, and select the most suitable option from three font sizes. You do not need to create an account. Your journal entries are stored in the app’s storage area on your device. You can enable the optional PIN lock and, if supported by your device, use fingerprint or facial authentication. Copy, save, or share your entries in a reada ble TXT format. Create a JSON backup and restore your journal entries to LUM. You can delete your saved daily sentences from within the app whenever you wish. LUM brings together a one-sentence journal, mood tracking, a memory calendar, and a simple journaling experience—all in one place.
