With the SMT app, you can configure all radio parameters of Lorenz products. Using the SMT app and a suitable infrared reader (Bluetooth or USB in combination with a USB OTG adapter), you can configure radio and device parameters directly on the meter. You can also read the currently set parameters and historical consumption values. The following radio and device parameters can be configured with the app: • Billing date • Telegram type • Radio status (activating and deactivating radio and encryption) • Radio time window • Device password • AES key In addition, you can read the following data from the meter: • Current meter reading • Historical consumption • Last billing date including billing date value • Any error codes with instructions To configure radio and device parameters, you need a license, which can be conveniently requested via the app or by emailing smt.app@lorenz-meters.de. To create a license for you, we need the device ID, which is displayed in the app. As an inspection body, a license also grants you the ability to activate high-resolution meter reading (calibration mode) to perform professional meter inspections.
