HOW IT WORKS • Clock in and out, also with Siri or a Shortcut; enter breaks by hand or let the app estimate the statutory minimum rest break. • Live ticker with running gross and estimated net pay. • Sunday, holiday and night premiums per § 3b of the German Income Tax Act, calculated tax-free. • Expected monthly net that you put together yourself: show or hide planned shifts, vacation, sick leave, bonus and reimbursements. • Daily and monthly overview of what adds up and what comes off. HONEST NUMBERS LohnTicker uses the official 2026 figures (income tax per the German Federal Ministry of Finance calculation scheme, social contributions, § 3b). The net figure in the ticker is an estimate for the live feel, not a replacement for your payslip. Always check your numbers against your employer's statement. SHIFT ROSTER Plan your shifts ahead. Build the roster for a whole month from your templates, as a fixed week or a rolling rotation (week by week too), or extend your most recently planned rhythm in one step. Turn a planned shift into a logged one with a tap. Export the plan to your Apple Calendar and get reminders. The planned-versus-actual view shows where you worked longer or shorter than planned. TOOLS • Vacation: record vacation days with the continued daily earnings; flows into your monthly result on an hourly wage. You decide how many hours a day of absence counts towards your monthly target. • Sick leave: record sick leave periods with continued pay; the app derives the paid working days, with a note about the six-week limit. No health data; flows into your monthly result on an hourly wage. • Bonus and special payment: record bonuses and Christmas pay, treated as a non-recurring payment (difference method) and charged social contributions under the one-time-payment rule. • Travel expenses and per diems, domestic and abroad. • Commute costs: business trips and the German commuter allowance. • Gross-to-net calculator and pension-payment handling.
