Store description excerpt

Logik is the classic code-breaking game, with nothing in the way of it. I hide a row of coloured pegs. You guess it. After every guess I answer with scoring pegs: • a black peg — one of your pegs is the right colour in the right place • a white peg — one is the right colour, but sits somewhere else I never say which of your pegs they refer to. That is the whole game. Colours may repeat, so the whole code could be a single colour. That is what makes counting the pegs harder than it looks. TWO VARIANTS Easy — 4 pegs, 6 colours, 10 guesses. The original game of 1971. Hard — 5 pegs, 8 colours, 12 guesses. 32,768 possible codes. A SCORE WORTH BEATING Time, guesses and variant fold into a single number, so a hard game and an easy one can be compared. Fewer guesses always score better — the clock only ever adjusts the result, never decides it. The clock stops the moment you leave the app, so a phone call in the middle of a game never costs you a record. Best scores are kept for each variant separately. MADE TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Four languages: English, Czech, German and Spanish. It follows your phone, or you pick one yourself. • A distinct symbol on every peg, for players who cannot tell eight colours apart by hue. • Sound you can switch off from the board itself, not only from a settings screen. • No accounts, no sign-in, no leaderboards, no cloud. • Your records live on your phone and leave with the app. Free, with an occasional full-screen ad after a finished game — never over the revealed code, and never after your first game.
