We read each jurisdiction's own ordinances and permit pages by hand, record what they say, and say so when we could not confirm something. Every figure links back to the page it came from. WHAT YOU GET · Last verified date and a direct link to the official source on every rule · Change history with the before and after — "1 year to 2 years, effective Oct 2025" · Regulatory alerts when a rule moves in a market you own in · Reminders for license renewals and tax filing deadlines · State, county and city rules stacked together, because they all apply at once HOW WE HANDLE WHAT WE DON'T KNOW When a jurisdiction does not publish a filing deadline, we tell you a filing is required and that the date is unconfirmed. We do not invent a date. A plausible wrong deadline is worse than no deadline. SUBSCRIPTION Lodgepost Monthly is $39.99 per month for up to 10 properties — about $4 per property if you use the full allowance. Without a subscription the app keeps working with the data included in the version you have; you just stop receiving updates. If you operate one or two properties, this is priced for portfolios and may not be worth it to you. We would rather say that here than have you find out after paying. Note: some cities limit how many short-term rentals one host may hold. Los Angeles and San Diego allow one; Big Bear Lake allows two. The 10-property plan limit is a billing limit, not a legal one. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Lodgepost Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription: $39.99 per month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically for the same one-month period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
