Store description excerpt

It Works is a small book written in 1926 by R. H. Jarrett, about writing down what you want and reading the list back to yourself. Little Red is a private companion to that book. The book states its method as three rules: I. Read the list of what you want three times each day — morning, noon, and night. II. Think of what you want as often as possible. III. Do not talk to anyone about your plan. Little Red exists to make the first rule easy to keep. Write down what you want, one item at a time. Choose a kind for each: a thing, a condition, a quality, or something to serve. Be definite — the book asks for detail, not a wish in general terms. Place each want on your list, then come back to it. The app keeps three readings ready each day, one for morning, one for noon, one for night, and a plain page for turning through your list at each sitting. A streak marks the days you kept all three. Reminders are optional and stay local to your device — a nudge toward the next reading, without naming what is on the list. There is nothing else to it. No accounts, no sign-in, no social features, nothing to share or compare. Little Red keeps no server of its own: what you write is stored only in this app, on this device, and is never sent anywhere. Close the app, come back another day, and the list is exactly where you left it. Little Red is free. This is a companion for a private, daily practice — not a productivity tool, and not a program that tracks or promises results. It keeps the list and keeps the readings, so that a method written down in 1926 is easy to follow now.
