Set a target heart-rate zone. Inside it you hear nothing at all - your music or podcast plays normally. Drift out of it and the audio ducks under a chime whose rhythm tells you how far off you are, and which way, without looking at anything. HOW IT SOUNDS - Direction is pitch: bright high pips mean you are above your zone, low dark pips mean below. - Distance is rhythm: the further out you are, the more pips in the group and the faster it repeats, from one slow pip every four seconds just outside the zone to four fast pips when you are far out. - Nothing ever gets louder. The alert ducks your audio briefly and your podcast or playlist comes straight back. WHERE IT PLAYS Your Apple Watch measures your heart rate and sounds the alert itself - on its speaker, or on AirPods connected to the watch. Keep the iPhone app open on screen and your phone plays it too. Start your workout in any app you like - Workout, Strava, Nike Run Club - Listen To Your Heart takes no workout of its own, so theirs keeps running. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your heart rate never leaves your devices. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no network requests. HealthKit is read-only, used live during your session and never stored by the app. Listen To Your Heart is a fitness pacing aid, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition. Requires an Apple Watch. Set your zone on iPhone; start the session from your wrist. SUBSCRIPTION Listen To Your Heart - $4.99 per month, with your first month free. The subscription unlocks heart-rate monitoring and the audio zone alerts. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in Settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription.
