Store description excerpt

Limpid Chess shows you just three moves each turn, and your job is to find the best one. That is the whole idea, and it is what makes chess finally click for beginners and kids. No more staring at a confusing board, frozen, not knowing what to play. Three clear choices appear, you pick one, and you are already on to the next turn. Fast turns, few taps, and you stay in the flow from your first move to your last. It is the easiest way to learn chess and actually enjoy every move. HOW IT WORKS Each turn, three moves are drawn right on the board as neutral numbered arrows. One is the best move, one is "not bad", and one is a blunder. They all look the same at first, so you have to find which one is strongest. Pick a move and it reveals the quality: • Green = the best move • Blue = an ok move • Red = a blunder Each pick is graded on the spot, and a plain-language note shows you what the strongest move was and why. Mistakes are never a punishment here, they are the lesson, so you get a little sharper every single turn. Soon you start seeing the good moves all by yourself. The best move is always there, you just have to see it. LEARN BY PLAYING, AND IT GROWS WITH YOU This is not a dry tutorial. You learn the natural way, by playing real games and getting friendly, instant feedback after every move. When the game ends, step back through it to see the best line and exactly where things turned. It is dead-easy to start: if you have never touched a chessboard, you can play your first game in seconds, and a child or a total newcomer gets it instantly. And it keeps up as you improve. Climb a roster of friendly bots that get stronger as you do, sharpen your tactics, and start spotting the best move on your own. It is beginner-first but never beginners-only: whether this is your first game of chess or your thousandth, there is always a better move to find. FRIENDLY OPPONENTS Play a roster of friendly bots of increasing strength. Under the hood they are powered by a real chess engine, Stockfish, dialed down so the bots stay beatable and feel human. Win at your own pace. There is no clock and no shame in losing, just gentle feedback that helps you grow. PUZZLES When you want pure tactics, jump into a puzzle streak: a rising run of real puzzles, each still shown as three moves on the board. One wrong move ends the run, so climb as high as you can and beat your best streak.
