Store description excerpt

A light meter that always works. No timers, no metered readings, no subscription. Point your phone and read the light in lux, foot-candles and EV at the same time — plus colour temperature in Kelvin, so you do not need to carry a separate colour meter. FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS Set your aperture and read the shutter speed, or set the shutter and read the aperture. Values land on the real engraved scale — f/5.6 and 1/60, the numbers actually printed on your lens and dial. Full, half and third stops. FOR FILM AND CINE Fit your lens and Notch will never suggest an aperture the lens cannot reach. Cine speeds including 1/48 and 1/50 sit on the third-stop scale. Clear warnings when a scene is too bright or too dark for the settings you have chosen. FOR EVERYONE ELSE Check the light on your desk, in a room, over a plant or before bed. Minimum and maximum are tracked while you move around, and hold freezes a reading so you can put the phone down and read it. HONEST BY DESIGN The reading in lux, foot-candles, EV and Kelvin is free forever and is never capped, never quantised and never runs out. Light Meter Pro is a one-time purchase that adds lens profiles, full and half stop scales, aperture or shutter priority and exposure warnings. There is no subscription. PRIVATE No account. No internet connection needed. The camera is used only to measure light — nothing is recorded, and nothing is sent anywhere.
