LEXIO is a daily word game with a biblical heart. Each day there is one hidden five-letter word, and every answer comes from the Bible. You have six guesses to find it. Whether you solve it in two tries or run out of guesses on the sixth, the day ends the same way: with the verse behind the word, its reference, and a short plain-English note on what it means. Win or lose, you leave with Scripture. HOW IT PLAYS Type a five-letter word and submit it. The tiles show you how close you are: teal means the letter is in the right place, gold means it is in the word but somewhere else, and slate means it is not in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard remembers everything you have learned, so you can see at a glance which letters are still worth trying. Six guesses, one word, once a day. The answer list has been carefully curated: hundreds of five-letter words drawn from the Bible, checked across translations, and chosen to be recognisable rather than obscure. Thousands of ordinary English words are accepted as guesses, so you can probe with whatever comes to mind. ONE WORD, WHOLE WORLD The daily word changes at midnight UTC and it is the same for every player on earth. Your family in another city, your church group, your friends overseas: everyone faces the same puzzle on the same day. Compare results without spoiling anything by sharing your emoji grid, which shows how your solve unfolded without revealing a single letter. THE SCRIPTURE REVEAL This is what makes LEXIO different. Every answer carries a verse. Solve GRACE and read why it is a gift that cannot be earned. Miss MYRRH and still discover where it appears in the story of the Magi. Each reveal includes the verse text, the reference, a theme, and a one-line explanation written for ordinary readers, not scholars. You can read every verse in your choice of three classic public-domain translations: the King James Version, the American Standard Version, or the World English Bible. Switch between them any time in settings and the reveal updates instantly. DAILY AND PRACTICE The Daily puzzle is the shared game: it builds your streak, feeds your statistics, and puts you on the leaderboard. Practice mode is the relaxed one: unlimited games, a fresh word whenever you want, and no effect on your stats at all. Learn the ropes in Practice, then protect your streak in the Daily. Hard mode is there for purists. Once a letter is revealed as correct or present, later guesses must use it. No throwaway guesses allowed. TRACK YOUR JOURNEY LEXIO keeps your history on your device: games played, win rate, current streak, best streak, and a full guess distribution so you can see how often you solve in three, four, or five. Finish the daily puzzle and see how you placed on the anonymous world leaderboard, ranked by fewest guesses and then by speed.
