Turn an iPhone or iPad into a child's first drum kit: touch drums, a daily beat, a beat maker, a sticker book, and a DIY kit built from household containers. LetDrum is a drum-learning app for kids 6 and up and for beginners. Play with fingers, or tap a practice pad or tabletop with sticks. Short games build steady timing, coordination, and rhythm reading. No account, no ads, no data collected, fully offline. JELLY DRUM PAD A real-sampled six-piece kit with 3D drum faces that ripple and glow when you hit them. Hit harder and it sounds bigger; a full palm slam is fine. Two-player mode flips the top pad so a parent and child can face each other and jam. DAILY BEAT AND BEAT COACH One 30-second groove a day, stamped when you're done, and a Rhythm Garden that grows with each day in a row. Beat Coach reads practice history on the device and says, in kid words, "a tiny bit early" or "nice and steady", plans three small things for today, and suggests going faster or slower after a level. Replay lets kids hear exactly what they just played. RHYTHM LEVELS AND PLAY-ALONG Notes fall from the top; hit them on the beat and earn stars. Or drum along to Twinkle Twinkle, Two Tigers, and Mary Had a Little Lamb. BEAT MAKER Build your own rhythm on a 16-step grid, play it, save it, and turn it into a level to challenge yourself. The idea dice always has a fresh pattern. PRACTICE-PAD MODE (MICROPHONE) Tap a practice pad or tabletop with sticks. The app listens in real time and judges every hit, with built-in latency calibration. Speed ladder adds 4 BPM per pass; echo games; and body percussion lets kids practice with claps, pats, and stomps and no props at all. BUILD A DRUM KIT TOGETHER A bottle becomes the kick, a tin can the snare, keys the hi-hat. LetDrum learns each container's sound, checks that they're easy to tell apart, and lets kids practice on their own kit. A gentle weekly quest sends families hunting for new instruments around the house. THEORY GARDEN, 26 LESSONS Rhythm Blocks, Sleepy Monster, Animal Beat Park, note values, 3/4 and 6/8 time, rhythm dictation, syncopation, the tempo zoo, drum ear training, Latin clave, Japanese taiko, 2:3 polyrhythm, and reading a drum staff. Questions can be read aloud for kids who can't read yet. Wrong answers never punish; kids only hear "try again, you've got this!" COLLECT AND GROW Earn a hand-drawn sticker for every lesson, fill a page to unlock a new drum look, and find seasonal looks on special days. Spend earned coins to dress up your Drum Buddy, which evolves as you level up.
