The Arabian Nights is a collection of folk tales from the Middle East. The stories found their roots in folklore and Arabic literature, Persian, Mesopotamian, Indian, Jewish, Egyptian and medieval. The story of the main frame of the "Arabian Nights" concerns Shahryar sasanien a king in India and China. He killed his wife for his infidelity. And he decided that all women are the same. Shahryar begins to marry a succession of virgins only to execute each one the next morning. Finally, Scheherazade is proposed as the next bride. On the night of their marriage, Scheherazade begins to tell the king a story, but it does not finish. The king, curious to know how the story ends, is thus forced to postpone his execution in order to hear the conclusion.
