No complicated drivers. No registration required. ▸ WEBCAM FOR OBS STUDIO Open LensCast, tap Stream, and copy the URL displayed on the screen. Paste it into OBS as the Browser source, and your phone's camera will be in your scene. The entire setup takes three steps and less than a minute. ▸ VIRTUAL CAMERA FOR YOUR VIDEO CALLS With the source loaded in OBS, activate the virtual camera, and your phone will appear as a webcam in any program: Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Skype. No additional drivers need to be installed on your computer. ▸ VIA WI-FI OR USB Choose local network and move freely around the room, or connect the USB cable if you prefer stable latency and don't want to rely on Wi-Fi. LensCast works like an IP camera: it streams video over HTTP on your network, so any program that accepts a video URL can access it. ▸ SMOOTH AND LIGHTWEIGHT VIDEO Streams at 720p and 30 fps in MJPEG format, designed for low latency on a local network. The preview you see on your phone is exactly the same data received by your PC, so what appears on your screen is what's broadcast. ▸ IDEAL FOR • Streamers who need a second camera without buying hardware • Work video calls with better quality than a laptop webcam • Tutorials and classes where an overhead shot of the hands is needed • Recording from an angle that a fixed webcam can't reach • Repurposing an old phone as a studio camera ▸ SMARTGLASSES (BETA) LensCast can also stream from compatible smart glasses with cameras, allowing for hands-free first-person capture. This feature is in beta: it requires manual configuration from the glasses manufacturer and is not yet available to all users. The app works perfectly with your phone's camera even without glasses. ▸ REQUIREMENTS • Android 10 or higher • Phone and computer on the same network, or a USB cable • OBS Studio if you want to use the virtual camera in video calls ▸ PRIVACY Video is streamed only within your local network, directly to your computer. LensCast does not upload your video to any server or store it outside of the device.
