Lendbucks is a digital lending platform that enables eligible customers to securely apply for, receive, and manage short-term personal loans through a convenient mobile application. Users can register, verify their identity, submit loan applications, monitor application status, access loan information, and manage repayments directly within the app. Loan approval is subject to eligibility assessment and internal credit evaluation and is not guaranteed. Loan amounts range from KES 1,000 to KES 30,000, with repayment periods ranging from 60 to 120 days. The maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 98% per annum. All applicable interest, fees, insurance premiums, and other charges are clearly disclosed to customers before loan acceptance. Representative Example: A loan of KES 8,000 with a repayment period of 60 days incurs interest of KES 1,260.00, fees of KES 1,780.00, and other applicable charges of KES 182.00, resulting in a total repayment amount of KES 11,222.00. First-time borrowers within a calendar year are enrolled in a Personal Accident Insurance Cover at a premium of KES 775.00 per year, where applicable, and the applicable insurance premium is disclosed to the customer before loan acceptance. Customers are provided with a complete loan agreement, including the principal amount, Annual Percentage Rate (APR), all applicable fees and charges, repayment schedule, total repayment amount, and any applicable penalties before accepting a loan. Lendbucks is committed to responsible lending, transparent pricing, customer protection, and the secure handling of personal information. Lendbucks is licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) as a Digital Credit Provider (DCP) and operates in compliance with the Central Bank of Kenya Act, the Digital Credit Providers Regulations, the Consumer Protection Act, the Data Protection Act, and other applicable laws and regulatory requirements of Kenya.
