With organ donation app of the organizational process of organ donation after brain death should be facilitated. The app is for medical personnel who are involved in the process of organ donation in Austria, designed. The app is currently optimized for the Federal longer Carinthia and Styria. Therefore, for other Austrian states individual details may be incorrect. The information in the app are valid for Austria Purpose: The app is intended to give medical staff in intensive care units, that has to do with the process of organ donation after brain death, an aid for technical and organizational process. The app is designed so that it serves people with a lot of experience as a short checklist. People who have less experience, can get gradually more information, respectively. The app can also be used independently of an actually occurring organ donation to information and education purposes. functionality: After answering three questions input the necessary information appears tailored. This data is not stored. It is always possible to change the answers to the questions. Tapping the left, click boxes open with more detailed information. The phone numbers of transplant coordination can be selected directly from the app.
