Store description excerpt
Ledger keeps track of who owes who in a group of friends. When the debts go in a circle it cancels them out: if you owe Ana, Ana owes Ben, and Ben owes you the same amount, nobody actually has to pay, so all three just disappear. When money does need to change hands, Ledger works out the fewest payments to settle everyone up, and it never tells you to pay someone you didn't deal with. It doesn't touch your money. No bank login, no card on file, no balance sitting in an app. You settle up in Venmo, PayPal or Cash App the way you already do. Save your handle once and anyone who owes you gets a button that opens their app with the amount filled in. Forgetful friends get a nudge with that same button at the top of their screen. You only ever record what you owe. If someone says you owe them, it doesn't count until you agree to it, so nothing lands on your tab behind your back. People you add as friends can skip that step. Splitting a bill takes a second: put in the total, tap who was there, and give a weight to anyone who owes more or less than an even share. The amount box does the math, so 17.95+5.75 works fine. Save a group you split with a lot and use it again next time. Nothing ever gets deleted, only crossed out, so you can always see how a number happened. No ads, no tracking, no account to sell. Ledger is invite-only, it isn't a bank or a payment app, and no money passes through it.
