Store description excerpt
Latch Echo is an offline cabinet for practicing short sequences of touch and rest. The room is dressed as a small live hall, with deep burgundy cloth, antique gold trim, a quiet emerald accent, and amber lamps. Five hold keys sit in one alcove. Each beat in a chain names a key and a touch: a short tap, a long latch held through the beat, or a silent rest where the hands stay off the cabinet. On the Echo Stage the chain grows one beat at a time. You watch the order, then play it back with the same keys, the same press types, and the same pauses. A wrong key, a tap where a latch was asked, a latch where a tap was asked, or any press on a silent beat ends the attempt. The Miss Report then opens on the beat that broke the line and shows what was asked beside what you did. A clean repeat lets the chain grow. The Streak Board keeps the strongest hall series so you can see how far a sitting went without mixing that record with later misses. Chains you want to keep can be stored in the Pattern Archive. Opening an archived chain plays it again so you can study the order and the rests without starting a new hall run. Focus Drill is a separate room that isolates one press type: only short taps, or only long latches. How To Latch walks through the three beat types and the layout of the five keys before a session, in plain language and without a score. Nothing in Latch Echo uses a network. There is no account, no sign-in, and no purchase inside the app. The device stores the first-walkthrough flag, best hall series, archived chains, a journal of attempts, Focus Drill records, and the cabinet sound preference. Settings turns those sounds on or off. The interface stays in portrait and keeps every control above the home indicator on all iPhone sizes. The Button Alcove is the door between these rooms. From there you can open the stage, the miss review after a break, the board, the archive, the drill, the guide, or settings. Latch Echo is a local practice cabinet and a notebook of your own chains. It does not offer lessons that promise a result, and it does not connect to anything outside the phone.
