Pick the person your story follows. Lapse uses on-device AI to align the face across your photos. Review uncertain frames, reorder a moment, or leave a photo out. Side profiles, occlusions, and extreme angles can need a quick check, so you always have the final say. FOUR WAYS TO MAKE IT MOVE • Face Story: isolate the face and soften the background, with aligned dissolves and adjustable isolation strength. • Photo Stack: layer your moments like prints, keeping the chosen face centered as each photo settles. • Film Roll: move through a strip of photos with film-style dates and optional effects. • Classic: a simple, face-aligned photo timelapse. Compare styles with same-photo examples before choosing your favorite. TELL THE STORY YOUR WAY Add chapter titles, choose how long they appear, and place them above or below the picture. Pick from four fonts and four text backgrounds. Drag text and music blocks on the synchronized timeline to put them where you want them. Choose a pace preset, adjust film length, and give each moment time to land. Show photo dates, including dates on the lip of Photo Stack prints. In Film Roll, tap to toggle flicker, motion blur, or face focus; hold a control to tune its strength. TURN ONE VIDEO INTO A LAPSE Choose a video from 2 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 750 MB and 4K.
