LangBelta is a dictionary and translator for Lang Belta, the constructed creole created by Nick Farmer for The Expanse. BROWSE THE DICTIONARY Every word entry, listed alphabetically. Filter to a single letter to jump straight to it — accented letters are filed under their unaccented parent, so Á sits with A. Words that share a spelling but differ in meaning are shown together and numbered, rather than the app picking one for you. LOOK UP A MEANING Search in English to find the Lang Belta word for it. Each word entry shows its part of speech, its English meaning, and cross-references to related words. TRANSLATE Translate free text between English and Belter Creole in either direction. Translations are generated by a language model, so they will not always be right — anything that looks wrong or offensive can be flagged from the translation itself with a single tap. SHARE Any word entry can be shared as a link that opens straight back to that word. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics, no tracking, and no advertising identifiers. Light and dark themes follow your system setting. A NOTE ON PRIVACY Text you submit for translation is sent to Google's translation model and stored so that repeating a phrase costs nothing — don't type anything private into it. Words you look up in the dictionary are never stored. The full policy is at https://langbelta.hangar279.com/privacy, and you can ask for a stored phrase to be deleted.
