A local chess trainer. Real board, real rules. TACTICS More than 14,000 positions with one winning move. Play it on the board and you get an immediate verdict; miss it and the puzzle comes back. Every puzzle is tagged and rated, so the trainer can tell you which motifs you keep missing. Rush is the same set against the clock. POSITIONAL JUDGEMENT No forced win. First you assess the position — clearly better, slightly better, balanced — then you choose a move. Both answers are graded, and the feedback names the concrete features: open files, knight outposts, pawn structure, king safety, piece activity. ENDGAMES Canonical positions played out against Stockfish. You have to actually convert them. The engine defends properly, so knowing the idea is not the same as finishing the game. After every move the trainer checks whether the result is still reachable, and tells you the exact move where it stopped being. PLAY A full game at a strength you choose, from club level to full strength. Each of your moves is graded as you play, and the coach explains what the better move would have achieved. At the end you get accuracy, blunder count, and your costliest moment. WATCH & GUESS THE ELO Watch annotated classics play themselves out, then say how strong the players were. Judging a game’s level is the same skill as judging your own moves. PROGRESS Ratings per discipline, a day streak, your weakest motifs, and a ladder that compounds instead of resetting every session. Puzzle ratings measure progress against yourself — they run several hundred points above over-the-board ratings.
