LADDER is a retro DOS-terminal climbing game — pure monochrome ASCII, rendered on a glowing CRT screen. Climb an endless procedurally-generated ladder of platforms, timing your jumps to reach each step before you fall. HOW TO PLAY Your character auto-walks across each floor. Turn to face a direction, then jump to leap onto the next step up. Miss the timing and you fall — climb as high as you can before that happens. FEATURES • Endless procedural climb — no two runs are the same • 5 difficulty modes: Easy, Moderate, Difficult, Extreme, and Progressive (which ramps up automatically as you climb) • 6 CRT-inspired color themes — classic phosphor green, amber, blue, red, plain white, or build your own custom palette • Two control schemes — on-screen buttons or a virtual joystick, whichever feels better in your hand • Adjustable game speed to match your reflexes • Persistent high score, saved locally on your device • Scanlines, screen glow, and depth fog for an authentic old-monitor feel No ads.
