The app allows authorised users to search for patients using a folder number and view available laboratory results in a mobile-friendly format. LabWiZ does not create, modify or independently verify laboratory results. FEATURES • Authenticated access using the user’s existing laboratory system credentials • Patient lookup by folder number • Candidate selection where more than one matching record is returned • Patient summary and laboratory episode history • Categorised numerical laboratory results • Microbiology, histology and cytology reports where available • Recent searches for quicker repeat access • Optional favourites for patients being followed • Light, dark and system appearance settings • Optional notifications for available results • Demonstration mode that does not use live patient information PRIVACY AND ACCESS LabWiZ is intended only for authorised clinical users. Access to laboratory information requires valid credentials issued through the relevant healthcare organisation or laboratory system. Users must access patient information only for legitimate clinical purposes and in accordance with applicable workplace policies, confidentiality requirements and South African privacy legislation. CLINICAL DISCLAIMER Laboratory information displayed in LabWiZ is a convenience view of information obtained from the underlying laboratory system. LabWiZ is not the official laboratory report and must not be treated as a replacement for the official NHLS report, appropriate clinical assessment or professional judgement. Critical, unexpected or clinically significant results should be confirmed through the official laboratory system or directly with the relevant laboratory before clinical action is taken.
