Flip it over. The front of the package is marketing. The back is the label. LabelFlip reads the back for you and gives you one plain card. Scan the barcode. You get: WHAT HELD UP, WHAT DIDN'T The ingredients in plain words. If a pack says "natural flavoring", the card tells you what that usually means. If it says "grass-fed", the card tells you whether a certifier actually lists that brand — or whether the word is just the brand's own. THE CLAIM CHECK Three honest answers, never two. Found in the certifier's list. Not in the list. Or: we couldn't read the pack, and we say so. We check the certifier's own directory, and the card shows which one and when we looked. RECALLS Every card checks the FDA's recall records. If something you scanned gets recalled later, Recall Watch tells you — it only ever looks at what you flipped, and your list stays on your phone. WHAT'S IN IT 73 additives written up in plain words: what the additive does in the food, and what US and EU regulators have actually said about it. Facts and sources, not a verdict. WHO OWNS IT The brand behind the brand, plus any court records about the label's own claims. THE ONE THAT HELD UP Where we've found a better pick on that shelf, the card names it. Where we haven't, the card says so instead of inventing one.
