La Liga Pirenaica de Puertos is a motorcycle challenge across the Pyrenees. Over the season you visit mountain passes from the official catalogue, and every pass you stamp scores points in the standings. 180 passes, from Cap de Creus to the Higuer Lighthouse, on both sides of the range: Spain, France and Andorra. How it works 1. Stamp the pass. Reach the summit and tap Validate on the pass screen. The app checks your GPS position against the official coordinates and records the visit. 2. Ride without touching your phone. Turn on automatic detection and the app validates the passes you cross as you ride, with the phone in your pocket or the screen off. 3. Score points. Each pass scores by elevation, plus a bonus if the road closes in winter or is only passable in high season. 4. Climb the standings. The table updates live with riders from across the range. Each pass counts once per season. What's inside • A map of all 180 passes of the season, with elevation, access difficulty and points for each one. • The pass list sorted by distance from you, to plan the day's route. • Live standings and a public profile for every rider. • Your progress: passes stamped, points earned and what's left to complete the catalogue. • Works with no signal. A validation is stored on the iPhone and syncs by itself once you regain coverage — built for passes where there is no network. • Open turn-by-turn navigation in your favourite maps app from any pass screen. • Spanish, English, French and Catalan. Light and dark mode. iPhone and iPad. Background location The app collects location data to validate your visits to mountain passes automatically, even when it is closed or not in use. Only the position at the exact moment of a valid validation is stored; your route is not recorded. The permission is optional: without it the app works the same, but you have to validate each pass manually while standing at it. Public data Your display name, your score and your validations appear in the public standings. Pick a name you are comfortable with; you can change it at any time and delete your account from inside the app. The season Season 2027 runs from 1 April to 31 October. Outside that window the catalogue, the map and the standings remain available, but no new validations are recorded. Taking part is free and restricted to riders aged 18 or over with a valid licence and motorcycle insurance. You always ride individually, on roads open to traffic, under the traffic laws of each country. This is not a federated competition and involves no road closures.
