kymmerdi – One less thing to worry about. kymmerdi is a safety app for pet owners. The name comes from the Franconian/Bavarian dialect: "kümmer di" – take care of yourself. The idea behind it: What happens to your pet if you suddenly become incapacitated – due to an accident, illness, or medical emergency – and can no longer care for it? kymmerdi detects inactivity and, if necessary, alerts trusted contacts you define – so that your pet can continue to be cared for. Key features: • Two confirmation modes: automatic or by click • Tiered SMS alert chain to up to two contacts • Pet profile with feeding, medication, storage location, and other information • Quiet periods for travel or special situations • "All ready?" check for all necessary permissions • Completely local, no data collection How it works: You confirm daily that everything is okay. Either automatically by unlocking your device (pattern/biometrics) or actively with a click. If confirmation is not received, kymmerdi triggers a tiered alert chain via SMS to up to two trusted contacts. This includes important information about your pet that you have stored: feeding time, where it is kept, and any special needs. Before an SMS is sent to your contacts, you will first receive an alert on your device. If you respond to this alert, no SMS messages will be sent. Privacy first kymmerdi runs entirely locally on your device. There is no server, no account, and no tracking. The only data transfer is the SMS in case of an alert. This is sent directly from your device to the contacts you have specified. Who is kymmerdi for? For all pet owners. It is easy to use, even for older or less tech-savvy users.
