Kumo is an accountability app for people who set goals and then quietly let them slide. Instead of waiting for you to open an app, Kumo texts you first. You tell it what you are working on and when you usually lose focus, and it checks in at those exact moments to get you moving. When it is time to lock in, you tell Kumo what you are working on and it blocks the apps that distract you until that task is done. To unlock them you send a photo as proof, so it is not just your word. With Kumo, you can: • get messages at the times you are most likely to bail • set a clear task for every focus session • block the apps you choose while you work • send a photo as proof that the task is actually done • take short breaks that end on their own • build a streak by showing up day after day • see your goal, streak and schedule in one place Kumo uses Apple Screen Time to block only the apps you pick yourself. Your app choices stay on your device. Kumo is an AI, not a person, and it is upfront about that. The conversation happens in Messages, so there is no new app to live in. The Kumo app is a companion to the Kumo text service.
