Store description excerpt

One grid a day. The same one for everybody. Nine rows, nine columns, nine boxes. Each of them holds 1 to 9 exactly once. Everything else follows from that, and everything you need is already on the board. THE SAME BOARD AS EVERYONE ELSE One puzzle a day, worldwide. It is generated on your device from today's date, so there is no server, no account and nothing to wait for. The board is there when you open the app, on a plane or on the subway. NEVER A GUESS Every board has exactly one solution and can be reasoned to the end using techniques a person actually uses. That is guaranteed when the puzzle is built, not hoped for afterwards. Stuck means a digit you have not finished ruling out. GRID, THEN ATLAS Two ways to read one board. GRID asks what belongs in a cell. ATLAS turns the whole thing around and asks where a single digit belongs across all nine boxes — the question you were already asking in your head, drawn. Anything placed in either lands in both. USE IT LIKE PAPER Pencil marks that clean themselves up when a digit lands beside them. Conflicts are shown as you go. Nothing is ever revealed, and no answer is for sale. AGAINST THE CLOCK The timer starts on your first move and stops on the last digit. Your time goes to today's Game Center leaderboard — today's, not all-time, so a first-day player can top it. Then keep the streak alive. LEARNED BY PLAYING The tutorial is real boards, not a slideshow. You will have placed a digit before anyone explains anything. BUILT TO BE HEARD VoiceOver written by hand, cell by cell. Every digit, note and conflict says exactly what a sighted player sees, and nothing more. TAKUMI — ONE PURCHASE, ONCE Opens the archive back to day one, boards of your own at every difficulty, and every color palette. No subscription. No ads. The daily stays free and identical for everyone.
