Krishi Mantrana is an AI based system developed for farmers and Agripreneurs that provides quick preliminary advices and address farmer’s common field related queries in real time. It has been developed jointly by C-DAC Noida, C-DAC Kolkata, Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) Ranchi, Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU), Patna. The system basically is a Dialog chatbot where asking question and getting answer is all speech driven, helping all section of farmers to use the system with ease. Currently catering Hindi and Bengali language, the Question Answering system is equipped with speech recognition and speech synthesis technology, and integrated with a chatbot widget for deployment across platforms. The application has been successfully field tested and is in process of being hosted for Agricultural Institutes.
