All commercial and industrial subscribers with a contractual power of 9 kW and above are obliged to install a compensation panel in order not to exceed reactive energy limits. 1. For subscribers with an Installed Power / Contract Power below 50 kVA (or kW): Inductive Reactive Energy Limit: It cannot exceed 33% of the amount of active energy consumed. Capacitive Reactive Energy Limit: Cannot exceed 20% of the amount of active energy consumed. 2. For subscribers with an Installed Power Contract Power of 50 kVA (or kW) and above: Inductive Reactive Energy Limit: It cannot exceed 20% of the amount of active energy consumed. Capacitive Reactive Energy Limit: Cannot exceed 15% of the amount of active energy consumed. With the Compensation Penalty Calculation Program, you can calculate the contractual installed power of your business or household by selecting the 1.8.0 Active, 5.8.0 Reactive and 8.8.0 Capacitive values you have received at certain intervals (Today & Tomorrow) on the electricity meter screen and writing them into the relevant boxes as the first index and the last index.
