KoalaCue Companion brings live cues and rehearsal-note tools from KoalaCue for macOS to your iPhone or iPad. Follow the previous, current and next cue, with labels, timing and scene context. Add quick tags or detailed notes with text, Apple Pencil handwriting and an optional photograph captured by the Mac. NOTES TIME Open a dedicated workspace to review and finish your notes. Search and filter by cue, scene, category or progress. Open a complete note, enlarge its photos and add extra handwriting or text while keeping the original. Mark a note Done, leave it for Later or keep working through the list. A small Taken date shows when it was first captured. WORK ONLINE OR OFFLINE After a show is saved on the device, its notes and downloaded photographs remain available away from the Mac. Create a General show note without a cue, or attach a note to a saved cue. Edits are saved locally and sync when you reconnect. Paired devices can share notes through the same Mac. Clear indicators distinguish local saving, synchronization and photographs that are still pending. BROWSE SAVED CUES The offline Cue List keeps cue numbers, labels and timings, with green scene breaks. Search for a cue or filter a complete scene, then select a cue to add a note. Browsing the saved list does not send a console command. HANDWRITING AND PDF EXPORT Use a roomy writing canvas with visible page boundaries. White ink stays visible on dark paper after saving and reopening. Keep extra handwriting separate from the original note. Export from Notes Time in Dark or Printer Friendly style, with a Done checkbox and layouts that keep a normal note's photos and handwriting together. Additional content uses labelled continuation pages. Offline exports are identified as local copies. OTHER FEATURES - Secure local pairing and automatic reconnection. - Shared note completion and non-destructive merging of saved show copies. - Retained original photographs and editable handwriting. - Portrait and landscape iPad layouts. - Mac recording controls, with confirmation before Stop to prevent accidental interruption. KoalaCue for macOS is required for initial show setup, live cues and synchronization. Connected features need the Mac and device on the same local Wi-Fi network or LAN, with Companion enabled in KoalaCue Settings. Offline use requires a show to have been saved on the device; a disconnected device cannot capture a new photograph from the Mac's camera. This is not a standalone lighting-console app and does not replace ETC Eos. No Companion account or cloud service is required. Companion has no ads, analytics or tracking. It communicates directly with your KoalaCue Mac on your local network, and show content remains on your devices under your control. KoalaCue is not affiliated with ETC.
