Store description excerpt
Six machined fidget toys you can actually feel. A hinge, a knob, a snap, a zipper, a lighter, a plunger — each one a real 240 Hz physics simulation driving the Taptic Engine. Behind a bolt you have to throw to get in. No ads. No timers. No scores. THE DRAWER PIVOT — a hinge with a real detent. Free, forever. KNOB — a detented dial that clicks under load and coasts when you let go. SNAP — a sheet of domes. Each one buckles once and pops back. ZIPPER — ninety teeth a second, every one of them a separate event. LIGHTER — a flip-top. The wheel spins, the flint catches, sometimes it doesn't. PLUNGER — charge the pins, then let the whole thing go at once. And BOLT, the drawer's own front door: hold it and the channel comes open. HOW IT WORKS Nothing here is a recording. A deterministic physics core runs at 240 Hz and every click, catch and rattle you feel is integrated out of it — mass, friction, spring rate, the exact velocity your thumb was moving. Miss the detent and you feel the miss. The audio is modal synthesis baked from the same model, so a machine sounds like the thing you just felt, not like a sample that happened to fire. Built for ProMotion. Portrait. iPhone only. Works with the ringer off — the haptics are the point. THE FINISHES — ALL FIVE, FREE Brass, steel, copper, black oxide, titanium. Each one is a different hand speaking the same vocabulary: a different weight to every click, a different voice under it. One pick moves every machine in the drawer, cuts a new face into each one, and changes the home screen icon to match. These are free, and they always will be. A haptic is not something you can judge from a screenshot, so we would rather you felt all five of them on the free machine than read about them. CARE No account. No analytics. No network of our own - the only thing that leaves the phone is the App Store purchase itself, handled by Apple. Nothing else does. There is no rating prompt, because the app does not ask you for anything. — KNURL is free with PIVOT on the bench and all five finishes with it. The other five machines and the wear they earn come with THE FULL DRAWER, sold two ways: a single year, bought once, or a one-time purchase that is yours forever. Both are shown in the app in your own currency, and neither renews automatically - the year simply ends when it ends, and buying another one is a decision, not a default.
