A small kitten has moved in, and she is counting on you. Kitten Story is a calm little virtual pet game about looking after one cat. She gets hungry, sleepy and a bit grubby, and she will let you know. Feed her, wash her, put her to bed, and she purrs, chats and follows you from room to room. A HOUSE FULL OF THINGS TO DO • Kitchen: open the fridge, pick your ingredients and cook on the board. Milk and grilled fish are quick. Ramen, sushi and a birthday cake take a little more. • Bathroom: run the bath, grab the sponge and shampoo, and dry her off with the hair dryer. There is a rubber duck. There is always a rubber duck. • Bedroom: switch on the lamp, pull up the blanket and tuck her in when her eyes start to droop. • Playground: a swing, a slide, a sandbox and a ball of yarn to chase. • Pool party: a paddling pool, a beach ball, a barbecue and a parasol for the hot days. • Mall: spend your coins on treats, toys, things for the house and hats. Yes, hats. • Lemon stand: run a little stall together. Cats walk up, you serve them lemonade and cookies, and quick service earns tips. HOW IT WORKS She has five needs: food, fun, sleep, a wash and the toilet. They drop slowly on their own, and each one has a room where you can fix it. Looking after something she actually needs earns coins and experience. Leveling up opens more shelves in the fridge and the mall, but nothing you need to keep her fed, clean and happy is ever locked away. The best money in the game comes from a shift at the lemon stand. If you have your eye on a new hat, that is where to go. SHE TALKS BACK The kitten has a voice and something to say in every room. Tap the microphone, say anything, and she repeats it in a squeaky cat voice. This is optional. Your voice is used for a moment and never saved or sent anywhere.
