Kioskope is a kiosk browser with a real barcode scanner built in. Point it at your web app; the camera scans into any form field. No scanner hardware, no scanning SDK, no MDM required. SCANNING - 1D, QR, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, and more, decoded on device by Apple's VisionKit - Live Text capture for printed serials and labels - Single or continuous scan, duplicate debounce, beep, haptic, torch - Prefix, suffix, TAB and ENTER terminators, strip rules OUTPUT - Keyboard wedge: scans type into the focused field on any site, no page changes needed - JS bridge and DOM events for pages that want structured results - URL template: navigate to a lookup URL per scan - Drop-in compatibility with the scan APIs of Zebra Enterprise Browser, Kiosk Pro, and Fully Kiosk; existing pages run unmodified KIOSK - Start URL, host allowlist, popup and scheme blocking - Show or hide browser chrome - Idle reset with optional session clear - Offline retry screen; prevents sleep - Autonomous Single App Mode on supervised devices CONFIG - First run wizard: enter a URL and go - Local admin behind a PIN - Export config as a QR code, scan it on the next device - Full AppConfig support for MDM; managed settings take precedence REQUIREMENTS - iOS or iPadOS 17 or later - A12 chip or newer: iPhone XS, iPad (8th gen), iPad Air (3rd gen), iPad mini (5th gen), iPad Pro (2018), and later Kioskope is a one-time purchase.
