Type what you want to see and Kiln makes the picture, right here on your Mac. No account, no sign up, and nothing is ever uploaded. The words you write and the pictures you make stay on your own computer. Most tools like this are a website that asks you to sign in, buy credits, and wait your turn. Kiln is an app. Once a model is on your Mac it keeps working on a plane, in a basement, and on the day the website you were relying on shuts down. FREE, AND PICTURES ARE UNLIMITED Make as many as you like. Pictures are never counted and there is no counter beside the button. The one thing counted on a free day is starting from a photo you already have, five of those, and Kiln Pro lifts it. Pro also adds the queue, enlarging to four times rather than twice, and unlimited saved presets. Take it monthly, yearly, or once and keep it forever. The one payment price is an early user price and will go up. Kiln runs no servers, so a subscription is not rent. It pays for new models, new versions of macOS, and keeping this working well on the Mac you already own. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Describe anything and make a picture of it. • Start from a photo you already have and say how far to take it. • Square, tall, or wide, at four sizes. • Make a finished picture twice or four times larger. • Make one, two, four, or eight at once, and stop part way if it is not going well. • Come back to anything you have made. Kiln keeps them all. • Every picture quietly remembers how it was made, so you can pick up where you left off. EIGHT LOOKS, ALL FREE Eight models to choose from and every one of them is free. Some are small and download quickly. Others are larger and make pictures that look like photographs. Each one tells you how big the download is and how much RAM it wants before you commit to it, and any of them can be deleted from inside the app. COMPLETELY PRIVATE No account, no analytics, no telemetry. The only time Kiln uses the network is to download a model you asked for. Your pictures and the words that made them stay in a folder on your Mac. ENGLISH, SPANISH, FRENCH, GERMAN, PORTUGUESE, JAPANESE, AND CHINESE. WHAT YOU NEED An Apple silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later. 16 GB of RAM is comfortable and 8 GB will run the smaller models. Kiln checks what your Mac has and sets each model up to match, and it says so plainly when a model is asking for more than you have.
