Store description excerpt

I did not want screens to become a source of conflict in our family, or for my child to put them down only because I said so. So, as a father, I created KidTime. KidTime is not simply about “controlling children.” It uses shared agreements, tasks, stars, and rewards to help children gradually learn to plan their own time and build healthier screen habits. 【Give each app the right amount of time】 Parents can create app-time rules, choose the apps or categories to manage, and set a daily allowance and active days for each rule. When the day’s available time ends, the system lets the corresponding apps take a break automatically. Different apps can follow different plans, giving games, videos, reading, and learning their own rhythm. 【Let children take part in managing time】 Time is not only about “allowed” or “blocked.” Parents can create star-for-time options for individual rules. Children earn stars by completing tasks, then decide whether to exchange them for extra time. Along the way, children learn that time needs a plan, choices come with responsibility, and rewards grow from effort. 【Turn everyday moments into growth】 Parents can create tasks for reading, exercise, chores, homework, and daily habits, with a star reward for each one. When a child finishes, they simply tap “I Did It!” and wait for a parent to confirm. Once approved, the stars go into the child’s Star Pouch. Reading once, tidying up once, or getting active once may seem small—but repeated day after day, these moments become a visible record of growth. 【Light up achievement badges】 KidTime includes growth badges for reading, exercise, chores, completed tasks, collected stars, and redeemed gifts. Every effort makes the Badge Wall shine a little brighter. Unlocked badges record the date they were earned, while locked badges show how much progress remains. Growth does not have to be dramatic. Every small step deserves to be seen. 【Turn stars into gifts children truly look forward to】 Parents can create rewards for their own family in the Gift Shop, such as: • Watching a movie together this weekend • Enjoying a favorite ice cream • Choosing a family activity • Receiving a long-awaited little gift Children can exchange the stars they worked for to fulfill a wish—turning rewards into more than numbers and creating happy family memories together. 【Make evenings calmer】 Bedtime Mode can remind children when it is time to rest and temporarily let apps managed by KidTime take a break. Parents can also choose bedtime exceptions and create small bedtime promises, such as putting toys away, packing tomorrow’s school bag, or saying good night to Mom and Dad. The hope is to end each day with less urging and a little more warmth. 【A small lock for parent settings】 The Parent area is protected by a six-digit PIN so children cannot change time rules, tasks, or rewards on their own. The parent session ends when the user leaves the Parent area or the app enters th
