This Android application is an explanation of philosophical confusion (Tahafut Al-Falasifah) by Imam Al-Gazali. In Pdf format. This book also photographs the doctrines of previous schools of philosophers as they really were. With this, it is hoped that people who become atheists based on taqlid can see clearly that all branches of knowledge—both classical and contemporary—agree to believe in Allah and the Last Day. They are also expected to realize that the debate that arises is only related to details of issues outside these two basic belief poles. Herein lies the urgency of the presence of prophets who have been equipped with miracles. Apart from that, this book is also interested in getting them out of an excessive attitude, namely the assumption that adhering to faith in a taqlid way shows the high quality of their thinking and intelligence. Because it is proven that the philosophers who they consider to be their group, are in fact sterile from their accusations of being deniers of the Shari'ah. Because, the philosophers believed in the existence of Allah and the messengers, even though in various detailed issues regarding these principles, they had different and deviated opinions, causing other people to stray from the right path. This book aims to reveal the aspects that led them astray, in the form of unfounded assumptions and mistakes. In this case, this work also tries to explain that all these deviations are the surface color of the minds of philosophers which contain valuable achievements that must still be appreciated. Actually, the disagreement between philosophers and other schools of thought is divided into three parts. Firstly, there are differences which are only rooted in matters of language, such as mentioning the Creator of nature - the Most High Allah from their words - with substance (jawhar) which is accompanied by the interpretation that the substance in question is a form that does not occupy a subject, in the sense of a substance that stands alone without needing external elements for its existence. Second, the ideas of philosophers that do not conflict with religious principles. The differences of opinion that arise are not related to the necessity of confirming the teachings brought by the prophets and apostles—may Allah bestow His mercy on them. For example, the theory of philosophers about a lunar eclipse is the loss of moonlight due to the interposition of the earth between the moon and the sun, while the moon reflects light from the sun and the earth is round in the sky that surrounds it. If the moon's position is blocked by the earth, the sunlight will be cut off and will not reflect on the moon. Third, views or theories that conflict with religious principles, such as the issue of the origin of nature, the characteristics of the Creator (Allah) and the destruction of the body. Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life
