Store description excerpt
Your recipes are in browser bookmarks, in screenshots, in messages from your mum and on a card in a drawer. KeepTaste brings them together in one place — on your phone, offline, with no account to create. COLLECT RECIPES FROM WHERE THEY ALREADY ARE Paste a blog link and the app pulls out the ingredients and the method without the ads and the holiday-in-Italy intro. Paste text from a message. Photograph a page of a cookbook — the text is recognized directly on the device, with no internet. Handwriting? The app prepares the photo and a ready-made prompt for your own AI app, and you paste the answer back. You can also send a recipe to KeepTaste straight from the system Share menu. Before anything is saved you see the form and can fix every field. ARRANGE IT YOUR WAY Cookbooks for weekday dinners, desserts and holidays. A tile view with photos, title search that handles diacritics. Recipes marked "to try" stay separate until you actually cook them. COOK WITHOUT TOUCHING YOUR PHONE The screen stays awake in the recipe view, and one button enlarges the text so you can read it from the other side of the counter. Headings, bold text and bullet lists in the ingredients work exactly as you type them. SHOPPING WITHOUT RETYPING Send a recipe's ingredients to a shopping list, or paste a whole block of products at once. Tick them off in the shop, run several lists at the same time, and send a list to someone as plain text. DON'T LOSE WHAT YOU'VE COLLECTED A complete .zip backup holds your recipes together with their photos and restores the whole library on a new phone. Backups can be written automatically to a folder you choose, keeping the last few versions. You can also export everything to Markdown — plain text files you can open anywhere and import back. Share a cookbook as a PDF, a single recipe as a message. SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER Light and dark themes, English and Polish interface, undo for an accidental delete, swipe actions in lists, and no empty dashes where a field wasn't filled in. WHAT ISN'T HERE Accounts, subscriptions, ads, analytics and the cloud. Your data sits on your device; the app reaches the internet only when you paste a recipe link yourself.
