Store description excerpt

One day, this is the only place you'll still hear their four-year-old voice. Keeplight saves the part a screen-time app throws away. Not the minutes you avoided — what happened instead. One written line, and fifteen seconds of your kid's actual voice, after each hour you put the phone down. Per child. A book that's theirs, growing into a year you can hold. WHAT THE PHONE-DOWN TIME BECOMES • Their voice — fifteen seconds you'll catch mid-sentence, the way they say it right now, before it changes. • The memory book — one line after each window: "said pasgetti and refused all corrections." A year later, on the same night, the app hands it back. • The memory calendar — the whole board, zoomed out: every kept dinner, bedtime, and Saturday morning lit up on the month. No numbers, no streak, no red X for a night you missed. • The weekly receipt — the hours you were actually there, the week's best line, the voice clip worth replaying. Worth sending to grandma. • The year look-back — the year compiled: the pins, the photos, and the voice clips as its soundtrack. It arrives twice, at the turn of the year and again on their birthday. Year 2, year 3, a counter you'll dread and love. HOW THE HOUR GETS PROTECTED The keepsake only exists because the hour is real. Pick your windows — dinner, bedtime, weekend mornings — and your phone locks itself. No 5:30 decision, no ignore button. Try to open a locked app and you meet the Kid Shield instead: a line to ask them right now, a memory from last year, the reason you set the hour. Your kid won't remember the evening you were on your phone. They'll remember the one where it was away. ALWAYS REACHABLE Calls and texts still come through. You choose which apps lock, so nothing goes away that you didn't pick yourself. A wind-down window keeps a "let me in for ten minutes" door on its shield, and a break-glass exit ends a locked hour early. Three of those a month, so it stays an emergency — and the count starts over on the 1st. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE Your kids never use the app. No kid accounts, no uploads, no face recognition — ever. Names, birthdays, memories, photos and voice clips stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. We couldn't look if we wanted to. Apple's Screen Time framework hands us only opaque tokens, so we can't even see which apps you lock. The book is yours: export it all — every line, every voice clip — free, forever, even if you cancel. Your kids don't remember your phone. Make sure you can still hear their voice. SUBSCRIPTION Keeplight Plus is one subscription covering the schedule, the shield, the weekly receipt, the month board and the year look-back. Two plans: Annual (starting with a 7-day free trial where available, shareable with your Family Sharing group) and Monthly. Your exact price is shown in your local currency on the paywall and on this page under In-App Purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
