Katalyst Guest Display turns an iPad into the customer-facing side of your Katalyst Point of Sale checkout. Pair it once with a Katalyst POS register and it mirrors the checkout in real time, so guests can follow every step at the counter: LIVE ITEMIZED CART Items, quantities, modifiers, discounts, surcharges, and tax appear as the cashier sends each round. The display does no arithmetic of its own — every figure comes straight from the register. LOYALTY CHECK-IN Guests enter their phone number or email mid-checkout to earn and redeem rewards through your existing loyalty program. TIP SELECTION Preset amounts, custom entry, or no tip — guests choose and confirm on their own screen. PAYMENT STATUS Clear tap, dip, or swipe instructions with live progress from the register's card reader. The display itself never touches card data — payments are handled entirely by the POS register. RECEIPT CHOICE Email, text message, printed, or no receipt — guests decide, and the register delivers. BRANDED STANDBY Between checks, the display shows your restaurant's logo and name. BUILT FOR MERCHANTS Katalyst Guest Display is a companion app for restaurants running Katalyst Point of Sale. It is not a standalone app: it requires a paired Katalyst POS register on the same Wi-Fi network. Pairing takes one 6-digit code and persists across restarts. If the connection drops, the display asks the guest to see the cashier and the register finishes the sale as usual. SETUP 1. Install this app on the guest-facing iPad. 2. On your register, open Settings → Pair Guest Display. 3. Enter the 6-digit code on this app. Done. Requires Katalyst Point of Sale and local network access.
