The KARE diabetes assessment has been produced in collaboration with Swansea University. During the assessment you will be required to care for several patients for the duration of the assessment. Be aware that his is a real-time scenario and events can occur at any time during the assessment. There is an additional sample exercise which should be used as a tutorial or for demonstration purposes. Keele Augmented Reality Environment (KARE) is a teaching aid which can be used to deliver or assess a range of clinical and interpersonal skills. Exercises may vary, and may provide the opportunity to talk to and examine patients, request lab tests and prescribe simulated treatments. Results may be observed at real-time or at an increased rate; your decisions will have real consequences... for the virtual patient.
