Kamus Rakyat brings Malay, Chinese, English and Tamil together in one offline dictionary for reading, lessons and everyday conversations. Search in any of the four languages, or use pinyin to find Chinese words. Entries start with the Malay word and group available translations and examples by meaning. Choose which languages to display to suit the way you read. Words in context Browse more than 27,000 entries covering everyday and study vocabulary. Separate meanings help you understand how a word changes with context. Definitions, translations and examples are still being checked and added; some entries do not yet have complete content in all four languages. From conversation to writing Explore topics such as food, travel and shopping, or build your vocabulary with the word of the day. The Learn tab organizes lessons into everyday, academic and exam, and workplace courses. Foundation combines grammar and vocabulary with examples, practice, answer feedback and progress. SPM material supports selected revision skills; it is not a complete syllabus or a set of official exam questions. Listen and revisit Tap to hear words and examples using compatible voices installed on your device. Some languages may require a voice download in system settings. View pinyin and Tamil romanisation where available, save useful words, and return directly to entries in your recent history. Learn offline The dictionary and grammar content are included with the app. No account or internet connection is needed to look up words. There are no ads or tracking. Saved words and recent history stay on your device. Read your way Use the interface in Malay, English, Simplified Chinese or Tamil. Dark Mode, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver are supported. Open dictionary sources and acknowledgements are listed in Settings.
