Store description excerpt

A metronome that does the fundamentals properly, then gets out of the way. Set the tempo three ways: turn the dial for fine control, tap a few beats to find it by feel, or tap the number and type it exactly. Anything from 20 to 400 BPM, with the traditional tempo marking shown as you go. TIME SIGNATURES Build the signature you need rather than picking from a short list. One to thirty-two beats, over a whole, half, quarter, eighth or sixteenth note. Two dials, any combination. SUBDIVISIONS Quarter notes, eighths, triplets or sixteenths. The beat display moves at the rate you hear, so on eighths each beat flashes twice — one, and, two, and. ACCENTS Tap any beat to cycle it through four levels: silent, soft, medium, accented. Each level has its own pitch as well as its own volume, so you can hear the shape of the bar and not just see it. Group a seven as 3+2+2, mute a beat to practise the gap, or put the emphasis wherever the music actually wants it. SOUNDS Three click voices — a dry click, a clean sine beep, and a warm wood block. SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER - Plays through the silent switch, so it does not vanish when your ringer is off - Pauses for phone calls, and waits for you rather than restarting on its own - Stops when your headphones come out instead of filling the room - Haptic feedback as the dial turns and as you set accents - Light and dark themes, or follow the system - Remembers your settings No account. No ads. No tracking. No network access at all — nothing is collected, so there is nothing to send.
