JTL Capo Assistant is a capo teaching and transposition tool for acoustic guitar beginners. Many beginners, upon receiving a capo, are unsure of its function: why does the song sound higher even when the chords are played correctly? This app explains it in layman's terms: What is a capo? When do you need a capo? How to determine your hand position when using a capo? Why the original vocals might not suit your voice? How to find a comfortable position to sing when you want to retain the original fingering? It also includes a simple transposition dial: input chords like C, G, Am, F, select the original key and the desired key, and you'll quickly see the transposed chords. Use it only after you understand tonality; if you're just starting out and want to learn about capos, start with the first page. This app does not have a built-in song library, does not offer song downloads, and will not upload your chord inputs.
