JSWORKER - ANDROID UI AUTOMATION FOR DEVELOPERS JSWorker is a deterministic UI automation and testing tool for Android developers and QA engineers. Create JavaScript scripts or visual flows to reproduce test cases and repetitive UI workflows on an Android device you control. Every action follows a human-defined script. JSWorker does not independently plan, decide, or initiate actions. HOW IT WORKS • Create and edit JavaScript in the built-in editor. • Build visual flows or import a local JavaScript file. • Run scripts on-device with the embedded QuickJS engine. • Find UI elements, wait, tap, swipe, scroll, enter text, launch apps, and use Back, Home, or Recent Apps. • Capture screenshots, run on-device OCR, or access the clipboard only when explicitly requested by a script. • Review logs and results in the built-in console. LOCAL AND WEBSOCKET MODES Local mode runs a script selected on the device. WebSocket mode is optional. You configure the WSS endpoint and start the service. While active, JSWorker can receive automation scripts from that endpoint and send execution logs or results back to it. Scripts may also make HTTP requests to endpoints specified in the script or send data through the active WebSocket. Only connect to an endpoint you trust and run scripts whose actions you understand. JSWorker contains no hard-coded analytics or advertising endpoint. USE OF ANDROID ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE AccessibilityService is required for JSWorker’s core UI automation features. It is used to: • Read text, content descriptions, UI hierarchy, resource IDs, control states, and on-screen positions from the current screen. • Locate UI elements requested by the script. • Perform script-defined actions such as tap, swipe, scroll, text input, Back, Home, and Recent Apps. • Access the current screen image when a script explicitly requests Screenshot or OCR. Screen or clipboard information may include personal or sensitive information. It is processed as required by the current script. A script can save results locally or send UI text, clipboard values, screenshots, logs, or results to an endpoint only when instructed to do so. AccessibilityService is OFF by default. Before opening Android Accessibility settings, JSWorker displays a separate disclosure explaining the data accessed and how it may be used or transmitted. The user must actively choose Agree or Decline. Settings opens only after Agree is selected. You can disable AccessibilityService at any time in Android Settings. OPTIONAL ADB WIRELESS SHELL ADB is an optional advanced debugging feature and is not required for basic automation. The user must manually enable Wireless Debugging and pair the device. After pairing, an authorized script may request adb shell commands within Android’s adb shell privileges. These commands may read diagnostics or change device or app state. ADB can be disconnected in JSWorker, and Wireless Debugging can be disabled at any time. OTHER PERMISSIONS Camera: Used
