JRB TripMeter tells you which Queensland road you are on and how far along it you are — live, in the vehicle, with no mobile coverage required. The entire state road network is built into the app. There is no login, no account, and no connection needed: TripMeter works the same on the Diamantina Developmental Road as it does in town. WHAT IT DOES • Live chainage — matches your GPS position to the nearest road centreline and interpolates your chainage along it, the same way the road authority measures it. • Road details — road number, name, carriageway, distance to centreline, AADT and traffic category, all on screen as you drive. • Satellite map — your position against the road spine, with chainage markers and an indicator showing your offset from the centreline. • Stamped photographs — take a photo and it is burned with the road, chainage, coordinates, heading, accuracy and time, and the same details are written into the image's EXIF metadata so they survive being emailed or filed. • Measure tool — drop a pin and read the distance and bearing from where you stand. • Road search — find and pin any road by number or name, with no GPS fix and no connection. • State and council networks — match against Queensland state roads (TMR), and switch on Murweh Shire roads when you need them. BUILT FOR THE FIELD TripMeter was written for road inspections, defect recording and site documentation in western Queensland, where coverage is not something you plan around. Everything happens on the device. PRIVACY TripMeter collects nothing. It has no network access at all — no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no third-party components. Your location never leaves your iPhone, and photographs are saved only to your own photo library.
