a weather app on the Play Store. FINALLY!!! Ok, so I'm not exactly first to the beach here. More like it's Bondi on a bank holiday — towels wall to wall, someone's already nicked the good spot, and forty other weather apps are building sandcastles right next to me. So why add my towel anyway? Because I've not just pushed a load of free models onto an oversaturated interface. I mean — ok, I did oversaturate the interface. I'm honest, but I'm not stupid. What's actually under the hood: • A living 3D globe — spin the planet, watch the weather move. • Live rain radar across the UK, US, Europe and India, nowcast up to two hours ahead. • Tap anywhere on Earth for a point forecast — temperature, wind, cloud and rain, with a 72-hour trend. • Forecasts blended from the world's national models — NOAA, ECMWF, DWD, Météo-France and more — biased toward whichever's been most accurate lately, based on backtests, not vibes. • Rain nowcasting built for regions where the sky changes its mind faster than a cat at a door. So will it still get it wrong? Of course it will. I'd be sunning myself on Capri already if I were that good. But I built it for two reasons: first, I'm an avid weather-app user and wanted one exactly how I like it; second, to see if I could get the models working together into something better. Free to get started. Small subscription after the trial for the good stuff. Late to the beach, sure. But maybe I brought the better umbrella.
