Store description excerpt
JLPT Tango Plus is a Japanese vocabulary app for learners preparing for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). “Tango” comes from the Japanese word 単語(たんご), meaning “word.” The moment you see the app name, you have already learned your first Japanese word. Study JLPT vocabulary from N5 to N1, explore words by topic, review them repeatedly, and test yourself with Quiz Mode. JLPT Tango Plus uses a learning queue. Words marked as memorized are removed from the queue, while words you are unsure about move to the end, helping you focus on vocabulary you still need to review. [Main Features] 1. JLPT N5–N1 Vocabulary Study vocabulary by JLPT level from beginner N5 to advanced N1. 2. Topic-Based Vocabulary Study related Japanese words grouped by topic. 3. Cumulative Decks Decks are organized cumulatively for natural repetition. You can also customize deck size in 10-word increments. 4. Learning Queue Word order is shuffled each session. Memorized words leave the queue, while unmemorized words move to the end. 5. Continue Learning Your current queue is saved automatically so you can continue where you left off. 6. Review Count Track how many times you complete each deck with review badges. 7. Japanese Pronunciation Listen to word pronunciation using your device’s Japanese text-to-speech feature. 8. Kanji Readings Check kanji readings, including on’yomi and kun’yomi, and learn how kanji are read in different words. 9. Color-Coded Reading Types On’yomi, kun’yomi, jukujikun, and ateji are displayed with different colors. 10. Similar, Related & Antonym Words Check similar words, related vocabulary, and antonyms for the word you are studying to expand your vocabulary through meaningful connections. 11. Verb Forms Check common verb forms such as dictionary, polite, て-form, past, and negative forms. 12. Hiragana & Katakana Review kana charts and tap each character to hear its pronunciation. 13.
